We met in the winter of 2002, through mutual friends Zac Hinton and Michael Wilson.

John was impressed with Heather's long blond curly hair and funky dancing, and Heather decided that John was a nice guy after all when he fixed her broken shoe. It took John a while to persuade Heather out on a date (excuses of coursework deadlines), but she finally accepted and they enjoyed their first date together on the 21st January 2003.



After many happy years together, on 26th Novemeber while on holiday in California John finally decided to pop the question on Catalina Island, and Heather said yes!
